Engineer in Training

J. R. Wauford & Company, Consulting Engineers, Inc. is looking to fill an open entry level civil engineering position with a determined and hardworking candidate. The position is based out of the firm’s Jackson, Tennessee office with opportunities to work across the State of Tennessee and in Western Kentucky. Candidates for the position should be interested in the municipal water and wastewater sector and have a strong work ethic and desire to gain knowledge and experience required to obtain professional engineering licensure. The successful candidate will be responsible in the assisting of the preliminary design of various water and wastewater facilities including development of plans and specifications, data manipulation, permit acquisition, and complete field work including resident project representation and survey. The candidate must have a four-year ABET accredited Civil Engineering Degree upon start date.

Civil Design/Drafting Technicians

J. R. Wauford and Company is a 68 year old engineering firm with three offices in Tennessee. We are recruiting Civil Design/Drafting Technicians for our Nashville, TN office. Responsibilities include all facets of plans preparation and assistance with project management for water and wastewater projects. Previous AutoCAD experience is required.
